Pupils at Plymouth College Preparatory School have raised £392.88 for St Luke’s Hospice. The money was raised by holding a collection after the Summer Show and a series of cake sales.
The children presented a cheque to St Luke’s Community Fundraiser, Rebecca Bristow in school assembly. This is the second time this year the school has raised money for the local hospice. Rebecca visited the school back in January to receive a cheque for £949.47.
Prep School Headmaster, Chris Gatherer, said: “St Luke’s is a local charity that has touched the lives of many in our community and I am delighted that we have again been able to raise money for such a worthy cause.”
