Sebastian Bennett, Year 4, has had a busy summer of fencing. At the beginning of the summer he achieved a gold medal at the Plymouth Fencing Club’s Summer competition for the U9s. He then travelled to London to compete in the International Leon Paul Junior Series U9s and achieved another gold.
Seb then had a fantastic time at the Plymouth Fencing Club’s International Epee Camp, where he spent a week learning from a diverse range of respected coaches and enjoyed time with his fencing friends. The camp finished with a friendly competition where Seb came away with two silver medals, one for individual Epee and the other for a team event.
Finally, Seb competed at the Leon Paul Welsh Epee at the weekend and achieved another Gold in the U9s. Seb is currently ranked number 1 for the LPJS U9s, there’s still a little while to go until the end of the series so we wish him the best of luck!
